Winners will be announced on the Centre for Arts and Technology Facebook page on March 5, 2012.

HOW TO ENTER

1. Fill in the entry form below and include a description of your photo.
2. Submit your best shot using the Photo Upload field. Photos should be a maximum of 500 kb. (If you don't have image editing software, you can reduce your file size online at www.imageoptimizer.net). If selected as a winner, you will be required to provide the original (high resolution) photo for contest purposes.
3. Submit your entry. Your entry will immediately be logged on our system with a date and time stamp. We will also contact you to confirm your submission. Good luck!

RULES

• Participants must be between 16-25 years of age on the date of entry, and residing in Canada.
• Maximum of one photo per participant. (If you submit more than one photo, only your first photo will be considered for the contest, so please submit only your best shot!)
• Photos will be judged by industry professionals equally on technical aspects, creative execution and personal vision. All decisions made by the judges are final.
• Keep it clean – No nudity, drugs or violence, or anything of this suggested nature.
• Please do not digitally enhance or alter your photographs (beyond the basics needed to achieve realistic color balance and sharpness and tonal qualities).
• Photos must be submitted by February 26, 2012.

*Scholarship details: The top prize includes a $2500 scholarship for programs at the Kelowna Campus of the Centre for Arts and Technology in British Columbia during the April, July or October program start dates. This scholarship will expire as of September 16, 2013.  This scholarship is only open to new students of the Centre for Arts and Technology as students who previously started classes in any program are ineligible. The scholarship must be used within one year receipt of the student’s high school graduation year or one year of receipt for a winner no longer in high school. Scholarships are non transferrable to another person or between campuses and have no cash value. Any information and photos used in obtaining the scholarship can be utilized by the Marketing Department for promotions. The $2500 amount will be deducted from the student’s final tuition payment. The student must complete the program in good standing in order to remain eligible for the scholarship. Further details can be found in the scholarship agreement.
