Mature Students

Mature Student Admission Requirements

Students who are 19 or older (Kelowna and Fredericton campuses) or 21 or older (Halifax campus) and do not meet the published academic requirements for the Centre for Arts and Technology may qualify as Mature Students. Eligible mature students include those who have not yet completed high school or have completed studies with grades insufficient to qualify. All other application materials are required as described in our application process.

Mature students may also apply as part time students and still enroll in accredited courses. Program prerequisites or evidence of equivalent prior learning may be required. Part-time courses are subject to availability as full-time students at the Centre for Arts and Technology require priority.

We welcome our mature students and are pleased to present the opportunity for a new career for those late bloomers who were “sitting on the dock of the bay” when the school bus drove by.
