The Centre for Arts and Technology is an accredited, higher education institution providing specialized technical training. Our Kelowna Campus is home to some of the industry’s best instructors and close to 400 students.
We are currently looking for candidates to teach one to three courses in our April term in our Networking Security Specialist program.
Course 1 - Active Directory Infrastructure Administration
Course 2 - Network Infrastructure Administration
Candidates must have a thorough understanding of Windows client and Server operating systems such as Windows 2003/2008, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Fluent in Active Directory implementation and design. Infrastructure services such as DNS and DHCP configuration. Deep knowledge of TCP/IP suite of protocols. Managing multiple sites with Active directory forests, trees and domains. MCITP is a big plus.
Course 3 - IT-411: Perimeter Security
Candidates must have a good understanding of Linux operating systems. Deep understanding of Windows operating systems. Experienced with different type of firewalls such as Cisco, PFSense, IPCop, sonicwall, Watchguard etc. Implementation experience of DMZ network. Routing concepts within multi segmented networks.
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience
- Diploma or degree in related field
