The Centre for arts and Technology Interior design Professional diploma program educates individuals to become leaders in the profession of Interior design. Interior designers enhance the quality and function of interior spaces, responding to all of the needs of human beings leading to an improvement in the quality of life, increased productivity, and protection of the health, safety, and welfare of the public.

They analyze clients' needs and requirements, lay out space, prepare working drawings and specify interior fi nishes and furniture. They also specify appropriate heating, cooling and lighting plans, prepare budgets and construction contracts; and supervise the installation of the design project. Today's designers are aware of diverse cultural needs, accountable for accessible, sustainable and environmental decisions, and sensitive to issues of taste, gender and perception. our mission is to prepare the students for professional involvement in the interior design fi eld and to contribute to the advancement of the profession.

exceptional educators, talented staff and practitioners with a passion for design enhance student learning by sharing their wisdom and expertise. students gain a thorough knowledge of the design process as well as technical skills including computer aided design and traditional drafting and rendering. Construction methods, lighting design and materials specifi cation are also emphasized. Graduates of the – Interior design diploma Program will be eligible to write the NCIDQ exam upon completion its required work experience.
