Bring your passion and experience and join our dynamic team. We are an accredited private post-secondary institute seeking one or more instructors in the Interior Design program.
The successful candidate(s) will have a commitment to personal and professional growth and a professional attitude and demeanor. He/she will also have exceptional facilitation skills with a minimum of 2 years industry experience. Teaching experience is preferred but we do provide support and guidance in instructor development.
The Centre has an opening for January 2012 but other positions are available throughout the year. If you are interested in teaching but currently have limited availability please still submit your resume for future consideration. Please indicate your availability and your area of expertise.
Key Responsibilities of the Position:
- teaching 3 - 6 hrs/wk for 11 weeks (starting January 2012)
- grading and evaluation
- lesson preparation and delivery
- creating a rewarding educational and adult learning environment in the classroom
Education and Experience Preferred
- Degree in Interior Design plus NCIDQ preferred
- Professional experience necessary
- Teaching experience would be an asset
