NEW GLASGOW - The Pictou County health authority announced the winners Tuesday of its gambling-prevention video contest for youth.

Judges selected Down the Drain, submitted by Daniel Gaynor of Halifax (Liza Herbert / Matt Chisholm - crew & cast. Shot in HD, broadcast on Global Television) Daniel's video, chosen from 18 produced by young people from all over Nova Scotia, wins him $1000, to be presented today in New Glasgow.

The winning video's will be posted on the health authority's website and distributed to local high schools.

**This was submitted in Daniel's name as his software was used and not the educational versions. The prize money was donated to Eastlink TV for its willingness to loan the students very expensive equipment for several shoots without charge. Also for allowing several tours of the TV studios and for sending mentors to the Centre.

Craig Webber - Has been hired to shoot a music video for John Mullane Tara MacDonald & Kirsten Flowers were hired to produce an Educational Promotional Video for "Spirit U Well" Wellness workshop.
