The Centre for Arts and Technology is an accredited, higher education institution providing specialized technical training and sought after skills in a rapidly expanding and evolving entertainment arts and media production industry. We are part of The Education Company (TEC), which runs specialized campuses across Canada.
We are currently looking for candidates with a passion for providing an outstanding admissions support for this full time position as an E-Advisor.
Objective/Purpose of the Position:
The purpose of this position is to manage all Internet-based and high school generated inquiries in a timely and strategic manner. A large part of this position will be based on timely and effective communication via email and telephone.
This person’s goal will be to ensure that all inquiries are responded to within the directed time and that the incoming inquiries are motivated to visit or be contacted by the respective campus/Program Advisor for further information. Responses will be both telephone and electronic. Enhancing revenue-generation is critical to the success of this position.
Key Responsibilities of the Position:
- Track online and community relations generated inquiries
- Communicate with inquiries and convert to appointments
- Conduct online chat function
- Manage the different classifications of inquiries
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Education and Experience Preferred
- Post secondary certificate, diploma or degree in Business Administration, Communications and/or a minimum of 2 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate to diverse audiences
- Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Knowledge of communication principles
- Ability to persuade and influence others
- Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
