What’s the difference between Interior Decorator and Interior Designer?

Interior Designers deal with the interior design, performance and safety of the spaces that they are involved with. Decorators normally will advice on the look and finishes of the space only.

What are some typical places where I might work once I graduate?

Small to medium design firms, manufacturers, developers, interior design products companies.

Do I need to be able to draw to be successful at this program?

No, but you should be willing to learn as it is still a highly important tool in this industry.

I want to learn to design commercial buildings—is this the right program for me?

The Interior Design program is perfect for commercial interiors but if you want to design complete buildings you will need to study architecture, not Interior Design.

What computer programs are used during the course?

We will teach you and work with Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, AutoCAD, and SketchUP.
