Centre for Arts and Technology

You will be exposed to many different types of events both through analysis and hands on experience.  Wedding planning is one aspect of this industry and a large one at that.  The skills you will learn and the concepts you are introduced to will definitely guide you and prepare you for that specific area.

Topics we cover that are directly applicable to people with aspirations to launch their own business involve the areas of marketing, business communications, finance, project management, human resources and leadership to mention a few.

Basic skills are required. You will be further computer trained in areas that are beneficial and relevant to your development for this industry.

During your 52 weeks you will be directly involved in both the planning and execution of 2-3 different events which will give students the hands on experience they need. These are events the students collaborate on and are lead by an instructor.
