The main 3D tool used is Autodesk Softimage. We have the entire Autodesk, which includes 3DMax, Maya, Motion Builder, Mudbox, and Sketchbook Pro, available to our students. We train students in Zbrush, Unity 3D, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Office, Hammer and more.

Drawing is not a requirement but it is highly recommended that you like to draw or are interested in learning to draw. A certain level of drawing and 2D artistic expression is essential to your success in this program and this industry.

Depending on what campus you attend, you may want to have a hard drive to work with, which you will be able to save all of your work on. Upon enrollment, you should check with your campus to see if this would benefit you.

Yes, most of the first year of studies is heavily based on 2D animation and then shifts into doing 3D animation.

Yes, it is a requirement. In order to graduate from the program, you must have a Demo Reel completed.
