The Centre for Arts and Technology-Fredericton is an accredited, post-secondary institution providing specialized technical training in the rapidly expanding and evolving industries of entertainment arts/ media production; and health care. Our Fredericton Campus is home to industry-leading instructors as well as successful graduates who are now successfully employed as professionals in their career of choice. We are a member of CAT-Centre for Arts and Technology Canada Inc. which runs specialized campuses in both Eastern and Western Canada.
We are currently looking for an instructor with a passion for providing an outstanding educational experience to join our team of professional industry experts and instructors in our Cardio Technology Program.
Objective/Purpose of the Position:
The purpose of this position is to deliver instruction to adult learners from a wide diversity of backgrounds from graduates just exiting high school to those who are seeking a mid or late career change. A full curriculum has been developed. A thorough orientation will take place prior to teaching in the classroom and we strongly support ongoing instructor training through NBACC.
Education and Experience Required
- Registered Cardiology Technologist in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years working in the healthcare field as a CT Technologist
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizing skills
- Demonstrated skill to work effectively in teams
- Previous experience as an adult educator/facilitator would be an asset
