CAT: Hi Tommi! Thanks for taking some time to meet with us today! To start out,we often get questions about “promotion” aspect of the program. Can you tell us what makes the Event & Promotions Management program stand out among your typical “event planning” courses?

We recently caught up with one of our Event & Promotions Management grads from Kelowna, Dale Berg. Dale currently runs his own concert production and promotion company called KeyNote Productions.

The Mercedes Benz Fashion Start Up Competition (in partnership with IMG Fashion, and in association with the Fashion Design Council of Canada) is an initiative that provides a national platform to discover, mentor and support emerging fashion designers from across Canada.

This year, we’re proudly celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary – our Diamond Anniversary. And to celebrate, we’re awarding $475,000 in scholarships to students enrolling in July 2012 and October 2012 at our campuses in Kelowna, Halifax, and Fredericton.

Our Kelowna Event & Promotions Management students are busy putting the final touches on this year’s CATOFest – the 4th annual event which kicks off the spring quarter and raises money for future student bursaries.
