Last quarter, Kelowna Digital Photography school student (and future fashion photographer) Ali Mathiesen, was involved a large-scale fashion shoot for an in-class school project. The project was part of her major assignment for the fashion portion of our Lighting for Stills 200 course that students take in their 3rd quarter.

This past June, our Kelowna Digital Photography students took part in an incredible fashion photography shoot with Kevin Trowbridge, creating their own visual masterpieces. Kevin is the department head for Digital Photography at our Kelowna campus, and organized the shoot as part of the Lighting for Stills 200 course that students take in their third quarter of the program. A new program, Digital Fusion Filmmaking – an intense 12 month program – is now being offered at our Kelowna campus. This program is perfect for the student looking to work in different varieties of media and it refines skills to make students ready for this larger focus.

Each graduating class of Centre for Arts and Technology Digital Photography students hosts a grad night to present their final portfolios, brand, and highlights of their final project (usually in the form of a photo essay!) This Friday, June 22, the Kelowna graduating Digital Photography class will be hosting their grad night: f8: the future faces of photography in focus.
