This Friday’s Music at Lunch performers, Manual Scavengers, put on an amazing show today as their peers, professors and friends took in the half hour rock session.

This week’s Music at Lunch was a true display or raw student talent as Kelowna’s own, SlenderCase, rocked the stage during Thursday’s lunch hour.

This week’s Music at Lunch was full of love. Literally.

The Kelowna Audio Engineering Department teams up with Cupid this upcoming Thursday, February 14th in the CAT student lounge to bring you their Valentine’s Day special edition of Music at Lunch. To help celebrate this romantic occasion, Audio Engineering students Nathan Peacock and Teigan Gayse will take to the stage.

Lil Thomas, our Halifax Department Head for Audio Engineering & Production, is one of the owners at The Sonic Temple recording studio in downtown Halifax. Lil's connections in the Halifax (and Canadian) music industry mean that Halifax audio engineering school students get to work with a variety of professional musicians in an award winning recording studio.

Brandon Cruz Bebe, aka BDice and Dorion Jewers, aka DJ Initial, rocked the lunch hour today at Centre for Arts and Technology Kelowna. As Kelowna Audio Engineering grad DJ Initial worked his magic, BDice free styled for his audience as they entered the downstairs lobby of CAT.

At Centre for Arts and Technology Audio Engineering schools, we often bring in musicians, bands, and recording artists of all kinds to record in our facilities. This gives our Audio Engineering & Production students hands-on practice in audio studio sessions, with the added bonus of working with real clients in a professional recording setting.

Brandon Cruz Bebe, or BDice, is an Audio Engineering student here at the Centre for Arts and Technology’s Kelowna campus. BDice has taken on an exciting project over the last year called the Daily 16. “Every day for the last 365 Days I have written/recorded a 16 bar verse to pay dues and to improve,” he said, explaining the project.
