The following act as the governing bodies in each regions where Centre for Arts and Technology operates
British Columbia
Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) of British Columbia is the regulatory agency for private training institutions in the province of BC. The Agency is given its authority by the Province of British Columbia, Ministry of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development, under the Private Career Training Institutions Act (SBC 2003, Chapter 79), Regulations (BC Reg. 466/2004), and Bylaws. PCTIA is classified as a Crown Agency in the province of British Columbia.
Nova Scotia
The Private Career Colleges Division of the Government of Nova Scotiona administers the Private Career Colleges Regulation Act. The Act and the Regulations provide the requirements that must be met to register a college and the operational guidelines that have to be in place to maintain registration.
New Brunswick
All private occupational training organizations in New Brunswick are required to register the organization, programs/courses and teacher-instructors in accordance with the New Brunswick Private Occupational Training Act. Private sector trainers are those that offer programs that are intended to prepare an individual for a specific occupation.
